Joining the global value chain and developing exports in developing countries create a foundation for improving competitiveness in these countries. This will lead to increased added value of products, investment in research and development, foreign direct investment, and the creation of job opportunities. Certainly, for a developing country like Iran, priority will be given to maintaining and expanding domestic production, enhancing exports, and strengthening international trade relations.
Our services in the field of exports:
Direct Method
In this method, the exporter—an individual or a company—sends the product directly to the destination country without intermediaries. In this process, the entire export operation is the responsibility of the exporter. Many people who consider exporting their products for the first time think of the direct method.
To start such a business, it is essential to have a marketing team in place before sending the goods abroad. This team analyzes the foreign market and assesses the needs, then introduces your products to target customers and creates the necessary groundwork for exporting the goods.
Indirect Method
This type of export, unlike the direct method, is carried out with the presence of a middleman. In this method, the individual or company uses trading companies to handle exports, and through a contract, the person or company transfers the export process to another company. In this method, the profit from the export is divided between the intermediary and the exporter according to an agreed percentage. Usually, companies that do not have a high volume of exports and find it economically unfeasible to establish their own trading team for exports tend to use this method.
Export of goods, in terms of departure of goods from the country, is divided into two categories:
Definitive Export
This type of export pertains to domestic goods that are exported from the country for sale or consumption. In previous years, a currency commitment was required for this type of export, but it has now been abolished. Regarding the clearance of goods under the definitive export customs procedure that require health, environmental, or quarantine certificates, export and clearance are not permitted without obtaining the relevant certificates.
Temporary Export
In this customs procedure, goods that are temporarily exported out of the country and then returned after completing their intended purpose are called temporary exports. This type of export is mainly used for goods that are exported for repairs or to participate in foreign exhibitions. For this procedure, currency commitments are not required. Instead, an export declaration is prepared, and with approval for expenses related to repairs or participation in exhibitions, the goods are exported.
The owners of the goods prepare two copies of the declaration and submit them to the customs for evaluation. Once evaluated, customs seal the packages and their contents, and a temporary export permit is issued. Usually, the expiration date and the return of the goods to the country are specified within the permit.
